I wasn’t prepared for the news I was having a boy. It took some time to settle in and I thought well maybe I will save money on clothes as there aren’t as many cute things and the color palette generally is blah for boys. I have a visual background so this matters to me more than maybe it should. After a little looking and some suggestions from others I found some really cute brands/sites that have very cute boy clothes for infants and toddlers.

The first one I came across was from a suggestion a stylist I met when she came to check out the girl clothes I was selling. Naartjie – Their infant Pjs and graphic boy t-shirts  are particularly cool. Their prices are great! Cute clothes, that won’t breaking the bank. Then  I got an email to join Zulily.com. Official corporate blurb:

Zulily is “a fabulous new online store offering daily sales on top-quality apparel, gear and other goodies for moms, babies and kids. Members can enjoy savings of up to 70% off retail prices—not to mention discover some exciting new brands and products. Based in Seattle, Washington, zulily was formed by retail and e-commerce veterans. We’re dedicated to bringing our members great finds at great prices, as well as giving emerging brands a place to showcase their products.”

Through Zulily I have discovered Baby Creationz (pictured below) described as Rocker-chic Clothing for Babies and Mulberribush described as Adorably Embellished Cotton Playwear. Both of which I ordered a few baby creationz asian hoodie shirtthings from through Zulily’s site. I did check out the designers sites. On Mulberribush.com (t-shirts pictured at top of post) they didn’t have the same t-shirts that were offered through the discounted site Zulily.com, so something to keep in mind. From what I saw on their site if I hadn’t already seen the t-shirts on Zulily.com I wouldn’t have bookmarked their site to come back and check what they had later. The selection I saw was a bit blah. Although discounted, still a bit pricey, which makes them great gifts.
